A garden shop in Washington state had a faux-bedroom set-up where this sleepy little cat lay dozing on the bed. He was oblivious to the people walking about as he curled up on the comforter. I added texture and painterly effects to my original photo to create a more impressionistic look. Update: It's been many years later and I re-visited this same garden shop last week. The bed is no longer there, but I'm hoping the cat has found an equally warm place to nap in the afternoon.
