The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. For this colorful piece I've combined photos of scrapbook pages as well as my own hand-painted papers. As usual, I was thinking of making something else but then all this happened, so I just went with it. What appeals to me is that it's unlike my "usual" work and is kind of crazy.
