November in Oregon is when all the crabbers get their gear assembled and ready to be loaded onto boats. Stacks of crabpots such as this, with their buoys and lines attached, look pretty colorful on an overcast day. Oregon is known as the “Dungeness Crab Capital of the World,” and towns up and down the coast all prepare in this same way.
