Description
The coast around the town of Neskowin is ruggedly beautiful, and late in the afternoon, as fog moves in and out and the sunlight filters through, there’s a lovely combination of light and shadow, where trees become enveloped in mist, and shadows turn especially dark. During this low tide, light reflects off wet sand, shafts of sunlight stand out, and a lone gull flies through the scene.

Makes me want to go there:-)
Carol Leigh replied:
You should! You're a coastal/boat-y kind of gal. You would love the Oregon coast. Most beautiful coast I've ever seen, and completely different from your area, which I visited a few years ago. You can't beat living on a coast, no matter which side of the country!

Beautiful capture, love the landscape with the light breaking through.
Carol Leigh replied:
Neal, thank you very much. It was a magical scene with the fog and the light. The gull flying through was a bonus!
