Description
Although I am first and foremost a photographer, I also paint and create collages. Here I combined some of my photographs with some of my painted and torn papers and came up with this vibrant scene. It makes me think of fall in the mountains, with geese coming and going, light and shadows on trees and in the water, and a lone sailboat, waiting for the break of day.

Wow! This is quite a departure from much of your work! I LOVE the color palette, and the story this tells.
Carol Leigh replied:
Yes, it is quite different, isn't it? I'm definitely trying to shake things up a bit, trying for a bit more representative work in addition to the abstracts I usually make. We shall see! Thanks for the comment.

Each layer adds such depth and dimension and the colors are terrific. This is one of my new favorites of yours, Carol!
