Description
A haunting landscape is depicted with barren trees standing against a backdrop of a textured sky in hues of blue and grey. One lonely bird perches atop a branch, adding a sense of solitude to the scene.
Basically it is how I feel right now. The title I had originally given was 'As Evening Falls' which I felt really appropriate for this but I messed up - as usual.
I hope this one will be uploaded without any issues.

Charlene, thank you for your lovely comment and understanding. I love the way you think too. Yes, everything has a purpose. Lovely thought.

Lovely! Trees are beautiful in many forms, not just green. I have trees like this by my cabin that the Eagles love to sit on. So for everything there is a purpose. Wonderful use of mixed media.

"Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad.” It is just a phase and state of mind which we all go through every now and then...... Happy times are very near Sabina! Just find them and hold on to them my friend! It is a beautiful end of the day and then a sleepy night and then the beginning of a new and exciting day!

Barren the trees may be, but in time renewal will begin again....as our environment and humans are ever changing! That hopeful sky, is just the beginning.....Love this! Wonderful work Sabina! P.S. Love your work, it always has a way of making you think!
Sabina Pamfili replied:
dear Rebecca, I am glad I popped in and saw your kind wonderful words. Thank you with all my weak heart right now. You really are a precious friend. What a lovely way to see it (the sky being hopeful).

A powerful sense of despair - till one looks up to see the hopeful sky!

Jolanta, my dear wonderful sweet sis, thank you. I am in awe when I see you post on my work and always thank you with all my heart. You are so generous and loving and thoughtful apart from being a great artist (art that I could never do), but so glad I came in late tonight to see you. Thank you, always. Keep holding my hand. Have a few tough days ahead. Love you.

You so perfectly portrayed a sense of abandonment and bleak stillness...so desolate...wow...and despite the absence of life, there's a haunting beauty, a melancholic reminder of nature's changing patterns...like in life..stunning artwork, dear Sabina :)

Thought provoking work Sabina, its very well done. The bird adds that sense of hope to the scene that 'This too shall pass.' fav. x

thank you, Sharon. I wished I had solitude because I love it. Love also my own company, but it is not solitude I seek. I just need to think of a different title because as usual I forgot that I already had a piece in the gallery with the same title.

Solitude can be a good thing, and I know it is only a moment in time. I also know that little bird is quite resilient, and so much more. And don't we all somehow feel like this at times. What appears haunting will soon be transformed by the approaching sun. Moody and beautiful, as art should be.

It may be barren and desolate - and that little bird may be alone. But, soon, other birds are going to come and join in with its song - and the mists will lift and the sun will come out again. Beautiful art, my lovely, as always. And so many hugs and kisses - and I shall join in with your song, if you don't mind?
Sabina Pamfili replied:
oh, my dear dear Issie, what a lovely beautiful wonderful comment. Yes, please, join me in the song. I would love it because it will make us stronger as we walk on with our lives. I am so grateful for you and your love. Thank you, dear beloved loving friend.
