It must be said, I adore photographing all the rust, scratches, scrapes, and weirdness I find on Dumpsters everywhere! This dumpster had a lot to offer! Look at the bright blue color, for starters. And then see how the rust really stands out? The chain dangling down is a big bonus. And what I really like is how the chain has obviously been in motion over a period of time, because look at the arcs of rust it’s created. There’s a story of movement as well as time and weather in those simple markings. And oh, did I mention there are numbers in the shot as well? These are all my simple pleasures. Life (and rust) is good!
