Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This is a stencil for printing a Japanese family crest (known as kamon) onto textiles. This stencil was created during the Meiji period (1868-1912). I have added additional characters and calligraphy and textures to embellish the piece, while still retaining the feeling of age and use.
The kamon (which can be thought of as an emblem, a business or family crest or logo) identifies a family’s lineage, a business’ logo, or an individual.
I'm a photographer, writer, educator based on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in photomontage work, combining photos I've taken of rust, walls, peeling paint, birds, postage stamps, trees, etc. into images that are completely new, different, and often weird. I also create physical collages, then find myself photographing parts of them to include in my photomontages. It's crazy, but it's fun! My career has encompassed writing guidebooks (primarily about where to photograph in California), newsletters (guides for photographers about where to photograph in the United States), leading photo workshops, and conducting online classes.
