Description
I saw this little girl playing in the waves on Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts, reveling in the last days of summer and enjoyed her exuberance as each wave came rolling in. I purposely used a slow shutter speed to enhance the feeling of movement, to show her as simply a free spirit, and to obscure any unnecessary details. Movement, delight, water, young girl -- that's all I wanted to portray. Also available in vertical rectangular format.
