Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

From the Oregon coast, where I had the pleasure of living among crows, I am now on an island off the coast of Washington and all of a sudden Raven has appeared. I love the sound, early morning, early evening, when everything is still and quiet, of loud raven calls. Not frenetic and cacophonous like crows, Raven is more contained, more dignified, says more with fewer words than Crow. And so it was with Raven in mind that I put together this photomontage this morning. Moving ahead of time yet looking back.
I'm a photographer, writer, educator based on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in photomontage work, combining photos I've taken of rust, walls, peeling paint, birds, postage stamps, trees, etc. into images that are completely new, different, and often weird. I also create physical collages, then find myself photographing parts of them to include in my photomontages. It's crazy, but it's fun! My career has encompassed writing guidebooks (primarily about where to photograph in California), newsletters (guides for photographers about where to photograph in the United States), leading photo workshops, and conducting online classes.
